The show is being done by Studio Orange who specialize in CG anime. They're most known for making Beastars and Land of the Lustrous.
Studio Orange made it, they made their names known with Houseki no Kuni (Land of the Lustrous), and continue making waves when they made Beastars, and now they're making this. Pretty much a solid CGI anime studio.
Knowing nothing about the original I am enjoying this remake.
