A lot of people have fairly normal lives with pretty average backgrounds beyond the fictional component of this tale. I guess substitute normal with believable, as in it's believable for Bruno to be a fisherman's son or for Caesar to grow up on the wrong side of the tracks for being abandoned
Since everything post Emporio is a new universe panning out, it's hard to get engrossed into a story that has to carry all the ridiculousness without the thread of the phantom blood. It's as if I'm being asked to book the same flight to the same location, only this time under a different airline and there's been a regime change since I last visited
